EVO

Hey everyone that read this blog I hope you have a nice day, in this blog I will talk about the importance and relevance of one of the most important tournaments called Evolution Championship Series (EVO) which has established a great prestige among the fighting game community.

I will start telling more about the history of this tournament, which is in force since 2002 and although at first occurred in California, from 2005 moved to the headquarters of Las Vegas, over those years the EVO managed to affinanciar its popularity as one of the most prestigious and important fighting tournaments for the community.

In each session of this tournament the best players from around the world gather to get the glory of winning the championship and prepare with time to get it, where it provides a show of excitement and tension in top level games like Street Fighter, Super Smash Bros., Tekken, Dragon Ball FighterZ and many more.

One of the moments most remembered by the community is the so-called "EVO 37 Moment" occurred in 2004 during the Street Fighter III: 3rd Impact tournament where the legendary Japanese, Daigo Umehara, performed a sequence of commands to block all the attacks of his rival, Justin Wong, and then perform a counter attack to win the game.

The collective euphoria of the people was impressive after witnessing this feat and is remembered as one of the "EVO moments" for all history, many examples like Daigo's happen in every edition of Evo, and many people enjoy this tournament for this very reason, all the intensity and excitement of the fans and players gather in one place.
